limit the autocomplete suggestion's to a max of 10.Would be helpful if anybody could tell me how to implement it in the following example:

Modify your autocomplete() function and add a limit parameter, which you can use to set the number of maximum displayed suggestions to ensure flexibility:
autocomplete()

The limit will be 10 by default, if no limit was given:

In your suggestion filtering loop, add an additional numRes variable to count the number of suggestion results:
